JJ Burke Renault is delighted with the news that the new Renault Master van has been named the winner of the International Van of the Year (IVOTY) award for 2025!
The fourth-generation Renault Master was announced as the winner of the International Van of the Year 2025 award at a gala banquet in Hannover, Germany on the 16th September 2024. Renault Master was unanimously chosen by a panel of experts representing 25 countries across Europe, beating the new Ford E-Transit Custom, the Stellantis ProOne Large Van range, the Ford Transit Courier and the latest Mercedes-Benz eSprinter van to earn the winning title.
This is the fifth time that the Renault Group has proudly won the International Van of the Year (IVOTY) award, having previously won the award with the second generation Master van, followed by the Trafic van, and both the Kangoo Z.E. and Kangoo van. In fact, Renault Kangoo Z.E. was groundbreaking in being the first all-electric commercial vehicle to win the IVOTY award back in 2012.
“The IVOTY jury were impressed with the complete new design and high levels of innovation and technology developed for the new Master range, which features advanced aerodynamics, increased usability and enhanced efficiency, space, safety and comfort. Plus the fact that its new modular platform accommodates diesel, electric and hydrogen powertrains. All attributes that meet the criteria for the award programme. Future proofed. Congratulations to Renault Light Commercials on this well-deserved achievement,” commented Jarlath Sweeney, Chairman, International Van of the Year Award jury.
