JJ Burke Car Sales is hiring Sales Executive to assist and advise customers in the selection of new and used vehicles, arrange finance and negotiate the purchase of trade in vehicles.
Main tasks:
- Prepare vehicles for sale, including display and arrangement of vehicles.
- Prospect for customers, including calling previous and new customers
- Research and revise company and competitors’ products
- Meet and greet customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
- Describe, explain and use a vehicle features and special options
- Demonstrate the use and operation of the vehicle and arrange customer test drives
- Explain, sell and arrange insurance, financing and service contracts
- Appraise and negotiate sale or trade in of used vehicles
- Estimate cost of repair of a trade-in
- Introduce customer to aftersales department and liase with customer with regard to aftersales queries
- Prepare sales contract and complete company sales documentation
- Requisite new stock.
- Organise delivery to customer
- Maintain all records relating to sales
- Maintain computerised records
Staff responsibilities:
- Advise, guide and train Junior Sales staff where necessary
- Liase with Sales Manager, Service Staff, Valeting Staff and Accounts/Administration Staff
Performance standards:
- Achieve new car sales targets
- Achieve used car sales targets
- Achieve new car profit targets
- Achieve used car profit targets
- Achieve customer service standards as per company and/or distributors policy
- Maximise company reputation
